Two years ago, on a trip to Salt Lake City, I found myself re-listening to Start With Why by Simon Sinek. That moment changed how I think about real estate investing — and how I think about lending.
I realized that at the heart of every real estate investor’s journey are three goals:
- Make Money — because you can’t build wealth if you can’t get in the game.
- Generate Cash Flow — because real wealth comes from what you earn over time, not just one deal.
- Build a Legacy — because we all want to leave something behind that lasts.
Out of that realization, Ternus was born. The name “Ternus” means “threefold” in Latin — and it reflects both who we are and who we serve. Our logo, made of three triangles, is not just a design. It represents these three core reasons investors get into this business — and it’s why everything we do is built around them.

For too long, real estate finance has been controlled by institutions that serve their interests first. At Ternus, we believe that investors deserve a lender that works for them — a lender that moves fast, is transparent, and keeps its word.
