With a career spanning over two decades, Tim’s journey in the real estate sector is marked by a series of notable achievements and leadership roles. His tenure in the real estate investment space is characterized by the successful completion of transactions worth over $3 billion. This includes the acquisition of more than 2,000 houses, over 1,500 apartment units, and in excess of 100,000 square feet of commercial space, alongside providing numerous loans to fellow investors.

Before embarking on his real estate venture, Tim served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Intelligence Analyst. His military experience ingrained in him a strong sense of discipline and strategic acumen, which have been instrumental in his professional accomplishments.

Tim is the founder of the 2020 REI Group and played a crucial role in the creation of Blackstone’s B2R Finance, later known as Finance of America. He also made significant contributions to the real estate community as a franchisee and development agent for HomeVestors® of America and as a founder of the REI Expo.

In his latest endeavor, Ternus, Tim is redefining the real estate financing landscape. Under his leadership, Ternus is set to launch innovative funding options, including a unique 100% financing fix and flip product in Dallas, further cementing his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.

Apart from his professional pursuits, Tim is also a dedicated family man, residing in Rockwall, Texas with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Alex and Will. The family shares a love for travel, sports, dining out, and real estate investing.

Tim is also the host of the “Real Investing” podcast, where he shares his wealth of knowledge and insights into real estate investing, continuing his commitment to educating and empowering fellow investors.
