So, I just got an email from someone very high in the Real Estate Investor Finance world, with the subject line, “now is the time”. He said rates are about to go up, and to get your loan requests in, this week.
This type of risk based reaction has been coming. I believe appetite will slow down, then explode again. The questions will be what will happen with rates and loan to values. If I were you, I’d at least get your refinances started now. If you fill out the form at this link, I’ll personally reply to your email and connect you with the lender(s) I use on a monthly basis to fund my business, refinances, and acquisitions.
The last 30 year rates I locked in were in the mid 4% range. Depending on the LTV you are after, I’m hearing about 30 year rates in the low 4% range.
Fix and flip loans are still being originated, and rates are as low as 8% interest only for experienced investors.
