Last week, the team at Residential Capital Partners announced the acquisition of the 3L Finance assets from the 2020 REI Group. This transaction completes the transition from a group of companies, to several individual companies that I have a role with, either in an advisory or ownership capacity. Check out the complete list of my active roles here.
I’m only 40, but I’ve really been trying to work less, and live my life more lately. I talked about a lot of this on the first episode of my podcast yesterday. If you haven’t heard it yet, check it out here.
Here is the announcement from Residential Capital Partners:
Industry Leaders Join Forces
Residential Capital Partners is pleased to announce the acquisition of 3L Finance. As a part of the acquisition, Residential Capital Partners is pleased to be the national hard money and rental finance lending partner to 2020 REI Group.
“We are excited about the opportunity to serve the 3L Finance customer base going forward and join forces with the 2020 REI Team”Paul Jackson, Residential Capital
Both Residential Capital Partners and 3L Finance have been leaders in the single-family rehab financing space for more than 10 years.
“The impact of both teams coming together with a borrower-based service platform will afford the combined team with a great opportunity to grow and reach more customers.”Richard Morgan, Residential Capital
3L Finance was founded by Tim Herriage, Jason Riney, and Andy Williams in 2016 as a subsidiary of the 2020 REI Group to facilitate and relate to the real estate investor in the field.
“We have always loved the facilitating and partnering with investors as they pursue their goals through the real estate investment process and joining forces with Residential Capital Partners gives us the ability to expend our reach and impact to this community,”Tim Herriage, 2020 REI Group
With the acquisition, Residential Capital Partners will continue its growth as a leading hard money and rental finance lender with a national scope. More information can be found at www.residentialcapitalpartners.com or call 866-328-1845.
