As a real estate investor using multiple investment property exit strategies is the key to successful investing. By understanding and mastering the supply and demand curve for real estate investors, you can capitalize on more leads, and end up with a higher profit margin per deal. Learn to determine when to wholesale, hold, or retail. Build a team of powerful resources free of charge, to prepare you for success. Like the old saying goes:

“Luck is where the crossroads of opportunity and preparation meet.”

Seneca, first-century Roman philosopher.

As an active real estate investor, you will be contacted about houses that do not meet your criteria.  Learning how to make the most from these leads is one of the most vital skills a new investor can learn.  They say real estate is about, “location, location, location”, but I believe it is more about who you know, and where they operate.

I make money off of houses I have no interest in routinely in my real estate investment business.  Most of these houses, I never even own.  This is in large part due to my understanding of the investor market in the areas I am active in.  Ultimately, you have to get in the door, and negotiate a price that will work for your client, NOT you!

Learning to be a real estate investor can be an uphill climb, but by networking and learning from others, you can get on the ladder half way up.  One of the best books I have ever read about this philosophy is the Millionaire Real Estate Investor, by Gary Keller.

I started at the bottom, worked hard and am now one of the top Real Estate Investors in the business. I learned from some of the best, excelling early as an acquisitions manager and then moved on to partner with other skilled investors to create my own portfolio of productive rental properties and later to mentor others to do the same. I am still actively involved in Real Estate, giving a current awareness to the training I share. My wife, Jennifer, and I live in Rockwall with our sons, Alex and Will.
